T: What do you think: What is the text about?
P: The text is about an extinct bird DODO.
T: What do you think: Could the bird fly?
P: It couldn’t fly because it was very big and it had big wings.

dogs, pigs and cats.
The sailors built homes and cleared the forest for farming. Their animals went wild on the island.
If the sailors hadn’t cut down the forest, they wouldn’t have destroyed
the dodo’s natural habitat. If the dogs, pigs and cats hadn’t gone wild,
they wouldn’t have destroyed the dodo’s nests. But by 1681 the dodo
had disappeared forever. It was extinct.
