Цель: совершенствование речевых навыков
Задачи:
Образовательные: - формирование навыков работы с аутентичным текстом;
- закрепление употребление степеней сравнения прилагательных;
- формирование навыка употребления страдательного залога (без введения данного понятия);
- формирование навыка письма;
- введение и отработка лексики по теме материала;
Развивающие:
- развитие самоконтроля и самооценки;
- развитие монологической речи;
- развитие внимания;
Воспитательные:
- способствовать формированию умения работать в группе;
- поддержание высокой мотивации к изучению
иностранного языка;
- способствовать формированию кругозора.
Формы работы: групповая, индивидуальная.

Today we are going to talk about the tallest skyscrapers in the world. We’ll know which materials are used to build skyscrapers. We’ll know some interesting facts about these skyscrapers and compare them.

Now we know about materials. Let’s find the answer for the question which of the skyscrapers in our books is the tallest.
I’d like to divide you into 3 groups. If you think that Petronas Towers are the tallest you will read about them. If you think that Empire State Building is the tallest you will find information about it. If you think that the Eiffel Tower is the tallest you will read about it. Or just choose yourself if you want to read about one of these buildings.
