Тип урока - урок повторение

Цель – Развитие коммуникативной компетенции средствами иностранного языка

Задачи:

  1. Образовательная: Формирование умений и навыков чтения, говорения с целью извлечения страноведческой информации по теме США

  2. Развивающая: Развитие у учащихся познавательного интереса, умения общаться на изучаемом языке в аудитории, на сцене, повышение информационной культуры, формирование социо- культурной компетенции.

  3. Воспитательная: Привитие интереса к культуре англоязычной страны, умения работать в коллективе(группе), расширение кругозора.

Планируемый результат: Учащиеся совершенствуют монологическую и диалогическую речь по теме, активно используют в речи новую информацию, развивают умение высказываться по теме.

Оснащение урока:

Компьютер, проектор, доска.

Наглядные пособия:

Карта США, флаг США, карточки с вопросами, ринг,.

Ход урока.

  1. Организационный момент-ведущий знакомит учащихся с целями и задачами урока.

  2. Представление команд.

  3. Состязание по вопросам.

  4. Вопросы для представителей болельщиков.

  5. Музыкальные паузы в перерывах между выступлениями команд.

  6. Подведение итогов. Вручение призов.

Все вопросы разделены на 4 равных группы по 8 вопросов, включая один «блиц», плюс один «видео вопрос». Команды по очереди вращают ринг и отвечают на вопрос указанный по стрелке. Каждая команда отвечает на 5 вопросов. Время на обдумывание 30 секунд. Видео вопросы проецируются на экран.

3.The Wabash Cannonball was a legendary train of hobo folklore. It was 700 cars long and often arrived at its destination before leaving its starting point. It travelled so fast that one day it flew off the tracks into the sky and is still thought to be rashing through space.

This guardian spirit might take the form of some animal or bird. This symbol became a protector through life. Witch doctor was supposed to be able to control the magic powers to be present in the sun and stars.

George Washington, the first President of the USA ,selected the area for the capital. A hundred square miles were taken from the states of Maryland and Virginia. It was called the District of Columbia.
