Тема урока: Традиции Великобритании: Праздник "Хэллоуин"
Тип урока: Комбинированный урок
Цель:
Познавательный аспект: Знакомство с традициями англоязычных стран (праздником Хэллоуин);
Развивающий аспект: Развитие англоязычной речи (умение высказываться по теме), учить излагать и доказывать свою точку зрения, корректно выражать несогласие;
Воспитывающий аспект: Воспитание уважения к традициям и обычаям страны изучаемого языка, формирование любознательности, творческого потенциала, познавательной активности, чувства долга, ответственности, взаимоуважения.
Оборудование: индивидуальные карточки, плакаты, атрибуты для конкурсов и оформления класса
Длительность: 90 минут.

| 2. Ознакомление с одной из традиций Великобритании, праздником Хэллоуин (сценка). 3мин. | - Hello Den, my friend from Brazil! - Hello! How are you? - We are fine! On the 31st of October the English people celebrate a wonderful holiday, Halloween. - Sorry, but I don't know much about Halloween. - I'm sure you'll like it. People dress up in strange costumes and pretend they are ghosts or witches. - It's a holiday for children. They dress up in funny clothes and go from house to house and say "Trick or treat". - What does it mean? - If people give us a treat - some sweets we'll say "thank you" and go away. But if they don't we'll play a trick on them. - People put pumpkins on the window sill. They draw eyes, noses, a mouth on them and put candles into them. A pumpkin looks like a face. | c) Конкурс "Найди слова". 2мин. | - Halloween is a special holiday which has a lot of symbols and attributes. Look at your cards. The letters are mixed here. Can you find as many words which are connected with Halloween as possible? № 2. Find as many words as possible:

4. Сценка с ведьмами. Танец ведьм. 4мин.
- Now we know a lot about Halloween. It's very interesting that Halloween was first celebrated many centuries ago by Celtic priests called Druids. They thought that Halloween was the night when the witches came out. As they were afraid of the witches they put on different clothes and painted their faces to deceive the evil spirits. Today we have guests. Let's meet our beautiful witches, which have a special present for you.
1st witch:
Now my house is fine and clean.
We'll have some fun for Halloween.
A party, a party, a very fine party!
Whom shall we ask to come?
2nd witch: We'll ask the bat and the witches' cat The owl and the howl, the sheet and the towel…
3rd witch: Hello dear witches, wizards, ghosts and others like that. We've gathered here to celebrate Halloween, the witches' holiday, our holiday.
4th witch:
If you want to be frightened to death, don't miss it!
Only here you'll find yourselves trembling with horror!

All on a Saturday night.

Девочки в костюмах ведьм разыгрывают ролевую сценку, приготовленную в качестве домашнего задания. Они поют и танцуют танец "Looby-Loo".
5. Конкурсный этап: Игра "Мумия". 4мин.
- One of the funniest games is called "Mummy". Let's play in teams. Make your mummy. The winner will be the first team, which makes a mummy fast and neatly.
Делятся на команды, каждая команда делает свою мумию.
6. Ознакомление с традиционным символом Хэллоуина, фонарем Джэка. 3мин.
- The symbol of Halloween is a lantern made from a pumpkin. People cut out eyes, a nose, a mouth and put a lighted candle inside. There is a legend which tells about one farmer, who lived many years ago. His name was Jack and he was very cunning and greedy. Once he played practical jokes on the devil and was punished for it. Jack had to wander alone with a small candle and a pumpkin. That's why the lantern was called Jack-o-lantern.

7. Игра "Кем я был (а)". 4мин.
- It's a very sad story, but today is a holiday! Don't be upset! Let's have a fun! Let's play one more game, which is called "What was I…?"
Один ученик выходит к доске и притворяется приведением, остальные пытаются угадать, кем он был, когда был человеком.
8. Игра "Нарисуй страшилку и расскажи историю о ней". 5мин.
- I want you to divide into four teams. Every team is going to draw a horror creature and to tell about it.
Делятся на 4 команды. Рисуют монстра и придумывают страшилку про него.
9. Конкурс "Мистер Страшила" и " Мисс Кошмар". 4мин.
- Halloween festival is widely celebrated in English-speaking countries, especially in America. Young and old take part in parades together. They are dressed in costumes. There are hundreds of orange pumpkins in their hands. The festival lasts almost till early morning. Let's choose "Mr. Fright" and "Miss Fright".
Девочки и мальчики демонстрируют свои костюмы, выбирается "Мисс Кошмар" и "Мистер Страшила", которые награждаются призами.
9. Итог урока. 2 мин.
- The night is ending,
The day is descending;
Through clouds like ashes
The red sun flashes.
Our party is over. It's a pity, but I hope you enjoyed our competitions. See you next year on the 31st of October. Good bye!
Все дети награждаются сладкими призами.
10. Этап информирования о домашнем задании. 1 мин.
Составить презентацию на тему Хэллоуин, используя фото, картинки реального праздника (1 учащийся рассказывает про Хэллоуин в России, 2-ой - в Великобритании, 3-ий - в европейских странах).
Записывают задание.
Выводы:
1) учащиеся узнали традиции Великобритании, в частности ознакомились с праздником Хэллоуин;
2) используя ролевые игры и конкурсы активно-познавательным методом, освоили данную тему;
3) пополнили свой словарный запас;
4) были мотивированы на дальнейшее активное и глубокое изучение английского языка.
