(“The Place We Live In”)

Задачи урока:Образовательная:
- активизация изученных лексических единиц и речевых образцов;
- развитие коммуникативных умений и навыков.
- развитие логического и ассоциативного мышления, умения систематизировать и обобщать полученные знания.
- формирование лингвистической, тематической компетенции;
- воспитание любви к английскому языку.
Ход урока
I. Вводная часть.
1. Организационный момент и приветствие.
Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls!
Pupils: Good morning, dear teacher, We are glad to see you.
Teacher: I’m glad to see you too.
2. Целеполагание.
Teacher: Look at the powerpoint, what is the topic of our lesson?
Pupils: House and rooms.
Teacher: You’re right. Our topic is “The Place We Live In”. Today we are going to revise some words that can help you to speak about the place you live in. You will put the furniture in your flat, ask and answer questions. And finally, you’ll tell the class about the place you live in.
Are you ready for the lesson? Ok, Let’s start.
3. Разминка.
II. Основная часть.
Учитель включает презентацию PowerPoint и демонстрирует изображения дома и комнат.
4. Повторение лексики. Учитель показывает на экране презентацию с изображением квартиры (кухню, ванную комнату, спальню, гостиную, столовую, прихожую и т.д.), а также мебели. Ученики называют по-английски изображения на слайдах (слайды) и рассказывают о назначении той или иной комнаты и мебели. Например:
Teacher: What is it?
Pupil: It is a kitchen.
Teacher: What do you usually do in the kitchen?
Pupil: We usually cook in the kitchen.
Teacher: What kind of furniture have you got in the kitchen?
Pupil: We have got a sink, a cooker, a fridge and a cupboard in the kitchen.
5. Отгадывание загадок по теме “ The Place We Live In ”.
Teacher: Your task will be to guess the riddles about the meaning of the words living room, kitchen, bathroom e.t.c. (слайд)
- a place where we can live (a house, a flat)
- a place where we can cook (a kitchen)
- a place where we can sleep (a bedroom)
- a place where we can take a shower (a bathroom)
- a place where we can watch TV (living room)
- a place where we can have dinner (dining room)
- a place where we can read books (sitting room)
- a place where we can take off our overcoats (hall)
6. Работа в парах.
Teacher: Now pupils work in pairs. One of you will ask questions, another one will answer his/her questions. Then change over.
Your new friend is interested in the place you live in. He wants to know what pieces of furniture and other things there are in your rooms. Use the construction there is/ there are to answer the questions. The words on the screen can help you.
For example: (слайды)
A - Is there a sink in your kitchen?
B – Yes, there is. - No, there isn’t.
A – Are there any chairs in the bedroom?
B – Yes, there are. – No, there aren’t.

9. Работа в группе. Монологическая речь.
На экран выводится изображение мебели и плана квартиры
Ученики должны расставить мебель в квартире.
Teacher: Work in groups. Let’s “furnish” one room of the new flat you can see in the picture.
Use the construction “I am going to…” Ask questions. You have 3 min.
For example:
Are you going to put the bookcase near the sofa or in the corner of the room?
The following words can help you:

Pupils:I want to describe our….. There’s a ……… There are…… And….. I love our….
III. Заключение.
14. Подведение итогов урока.
Teacher: Raise red, yellow or green card. How did you work today? What problems you had?
15. Домашнее задание. Draw the plan of your flat. Furnish it.
(Write down 8-10 sentences describing your flat).
