Mother’s Day

Цели: систематизировать и активизировать знания учащихся по теме «День Матери», подготовить подарочную открытку маме и бабушке.Задачи:
Образовательные:
- активизация лексических единиц и структур в рамках темы,
- формирование положительной мотивации учащихся.
- воспитание уважительного и доброго отношения к самому дорогому человеку – маме,
- воспитание чувства благодарности и заботы мамам и бабушкам,
- воспитание чувства внимательности к мамам и бабушкам, желания дарить подарки и делать приятные сюрпризы.
- развивать творческие способности учащихся,
- развивать языковую культуру общения на английском языке,
- развивать актерские способности детей,
- развивать желание детей проводить досуг с родителями и семьей,
- развивать речь, память, внимание и воображение учащихся,
- развивать познавательные интересы учащихся и их кругозор,
- развитие навыков межличностного общения,
- развитие фонематического слуха и языковой догадки.
Тип занятия: изучение и первичное закрепление новых знаний
Оборудование: проектор, ноутбук, презентация, открытки.
Ход урока:
1. Орг.момент.
Тeacher: Good day, dear pupils. I am glade to see you. (слайд 1)
Pupils: Good day!
2. Фонетическая зарядка.
Тeacher: Let’s start our lesson with phonetic charge. And now we have a song “ABC”. Take lyrics. (Приложение №1) And please read it:

3. Раскрытие темы занятия.
Тeacher: This is a task. Look at the screen and insert the missing letters in the alphabet. And we get the theme of our lesson (слайд 3):

Teacher: Make the letters and we get the theme of our lesson.

Pupils: MOTHER’S DAY. (слайд 5)
Тeacher: Yes! The theme of our lesson is «Mother's Day». Do you understand? Translate, please. Today we shall speak about Mother's Day. England was one of the first countries to name one Sunday a year as Mother's Day. On that day English children do something special for their mothers to show how much they love and care for them.
Mother is the dearest word in the life of every child. Mother is kindness. Mother is tenderness. Mother is beauty. Mother is the whole world for a little child. Mother helps us, mother supports us. Mother is always ready to give us her warmth.
People visit their mothers and give them flowers and small presents. If they cannot visit their mothers, they send a «Mother’s Day card».
4. Составление рассказа о маме (использование прилагательных).
Тeacher: Excellent. Now think of your mother. (слайд 6)
My mother’s name is___________
She is nice, beautiful, dear, happy, nice, kind
I love her very much.
Pupils: give their answers.
5. Физкультминутка. If You're Happy. Super Simple Songs.
Тeacher: Let’s have a rest. Stand up. Look at the screen.

6. Чтение стихотворения.
Тeacher: Let’s read and translate a poem (Приложение №2)
Mommy, I love you
For all that you do.
I'll kiss you and hug you
'Cause you love me, too.
You feed me and need me
To teach you to play,
So smile 'cause I love you
On this Mother's Day.
Pupils: Read and translate a poem.
7. Подготовка поздравительной открытки.
Тeacher: Now, it’s time to make cards for our mothers. First of all, take your colored sheet of a carton and write congratulation. (слайд 8)
Pupils: make cards for their mothers.
8. Рефлексия.
Тeacher: Now, it’s time to speak about our lesson. Was it helpful for you? Was it interesting? Do you like your lesson? Why?
Pupils: give their answers.
9. Заключительный этап.
Тeacher: My dear pupils! Thank you for the lesson! You were great. Present your cards on Sunday morning, your Mothers and Grannies will be happy! I wish you good luck! Good – bye!
