Животные в символах

Внеклассное мероприятие организовывается и проводится с элементами проектной деятельности. При планировании мероприятия  учитывались возрастные особенности  учащихся 6-7 классов. Сочетание игровых моментов и элементов исследовательской работы сделало мероприятие черезвычайно интересным для учащихся.

Цели:  Установление межпредметных связей (география, изобразительное искусство), развитие речевой компетенции в говорении, обучение монологическому высказыванию, реализация творческого потенциала,  обучение анализу, используя знаки и символы, обучение поисковой деятельности (для подготовки презентации).

Задачи: расширение кругозора, повышение словарного запаса учащихся, развитие умения работать в группе.

Оснащение: Компьютер, проектор, компьютерная презентация, карточки со словами, ватман (6 шт), фломастеры, призы.

Preparation before the lesson:
Students make 3 groups.

Within the groups students should prepare

·        The description of 4 animals

·        Presentation of the animal as a symbol of one of the countries (description of the animal, animals in sculptures/paintings, symbol of which country it is, what this symbol means)

Lesson plan:

1.     Warming-up. Labelling.
Students are shown pictures of  different animals and students say what the animal is.

2.     Label parts of animal’s body.
Groups of students are given the posters with animals on them. Students label different parts of the animal’s body. The first group  to finish successfullyin 2 minutes wins.

3.     Guess the animal.
Students give the description of 4 animals they have prepared before and read their description to another team.

4.     Match the animals and countries they symbolize.

5.     Memory game.

6.     Students presentations “Animals as symbols”

7.     Coat-of-arms of different countries.

8.     Create our school/class coar-of-arm.
What makes a good coat-of-arm.
Make a poster. Group work.

9.     Let’s have fun. Write a note. Group work.

10.Let’s sing the song! Happy hippo song.

Подготовка перед игрой:

Учащиеся делятся на 3 группы. В каждой группе учащиеся готовят «домашнее задание»

·        Описание четырех животных

·        Презентация животного, являющегося символом одной из стран (описание животного, изображение в скульптуре\изобразительом искусстве, изображение в гербе, что этот символ означает)

План урока:

1.     Разминка.Задание «Назови животное». Учащиеся называют животных (можно хором)

2.     Назови части тела животного. Учащимся даются по 1 постеру с изображением животного  и ребята отмечают части тела животного в течении 2-х минут. Жюри выставляет командам баллы.

3.     Домашнее задание «Угадай животное». Учащиеся зачитывают описания животных командам. Та команда, которая угадала животное быстрее и правильнее, получает балл.

4.     Сопоставь животных и ктраны, которые они символизируют.

5.      Игра «Запомни слова»

6.     Презентации учащихся «Животные как символы»

7.     Гербыстран.

8.     Создайгербшколы\класса.

9.     Давайте повеселимся. Напишите заголовок к фотографии.

Good afternoon dear students! Today we are going to have a game which is called “Anamals as symbols”. Some of the tasks you will do in groups and by the end of our game the panel of experts will evaluate your answers and choose the best team.

1.     Разминка. Учащимся показывают изображения животных, учащиеся называют их (можно хором.) Look at the pictures and say what animal it is. Youcandoitalltogether.

2.     “Label parts of animal’s body” is our first team task. Write the parts of the animal’s body, you are given 2 minutes only. Whoisthebest?Учащимся выдаются по одному постеру с нарисоваными от руки животными на выбор – собака, кошка, лев, крокодил и т.д. Учащиеся называют части тела животного: body, head, eyes, ears, mane, claws, pawsи т.д

 

3.      Let’s see what you have done. В то время как учащиеся выполнют задание, можно включить веселую музыку.

 

4.     Your homework was to prepare the description of the animals. You read the description to the teams. Thefirstteamwhoguesses, getsapoint.Учащиеся читают описания животных командам. Жюри отмечает кто из команд правильнее и быстрее ответил на вопросы.

5.     There are a lot of animals which are the symbols of the countries. Read the names of the  countries and animals and match them. Doitonthepieceofpaper.Учащимся показывают изображение на слайде и раздают задание:

6.     In the next task we will check how good your memory is. Look at the words which you will need to use in one of the tasks. They are all nouns, they can be used in the description of coat-of-arms (гербов). You have got one minute! Then you have one minute to match the words.

Учащимся проговаривают слова и дают 1 минуту для запоминания. Затем, дают карточки со словами, которые надо сопоставить.  Еще одна минута дается на сопоставление этих же слов на карточках.

7.     Students’ presentations. Учащиеся показывают подготовленные заранее презентации о животных, которые являюся символами каких-либо стран. Объем презентации зависит от уровня подготовки учащихся.

8.     Let’s have a look at coat of arms of different countries. You can see different animals, what are they? Which countries do they belong to? Why do you think these animals/birds are depicted here? (Students give their own answers)

9.     Now, your task is to create your school/class/group coat of arm. In order to create it you should follow some rules:

7 colours are used in the coat of arms:   red (danger, strength, power, energy) yellow (joy, happiness, intellect) green (growth, harmony, freshness) blue (stability, trust, wisdom) purple (royalty, nobility, ambition) white (perfection, purity, innocence) black (power, elegance, mystery)
